African foodbank to support single mothers, widows, elderly and married women with little or no income.
Food poverty is on the rise in our community, our aim is to support women and their families with food.
1-2-1 Practical and emotional support
Monday &Tuesdays: 10am to 2pm (Call our helpline to book an appointment) Wednesday: 10am to 2pm: (For all women; Single, married, widows, single mothers)
Breakfast Club
We create a safe space for women to come together to have breakfast and talk about issues that affects them, sharing ideas on how to improve their wellbeing. The aim is also to help reduce loneliness and isolation.
Wellbeing/Confidence building
Our aim is to help women who have experienced significant adversity build their confidence so they can thrive. Dance session: We dance for fun! We use dance to reduce stress, isolation and to build confidence. All our sessions will help you to improve your physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.
SINGLE MOTHERS & WIDOWS PROJECT
Thursday: 10am to 2pm
Befriending service for Single mothers and widows. Our aim is for the Befriending project lead to connect/match up women with a volunteer befriender. The Volunteer’s duty is to support the woman/women by visiting them, calling and making sure they are ok and getting on well with life.
BE HAPPY REGARDLESS: THE GIRL CHILD PROJECT
9 to 17 years - 18 to 21 years.
Our aim is to awareness on how young girls can improve their physical, mental and emotional wellbeing

- Domestic abuse awareness sessions
- Healthy relationship workshops and many more
Our aim is to organise community events that will bring young girls together either in our space or their schools (primary, secondary and universities) to discuss issues that affects them in a holistic context.
FAITH PROJECT
Wonderfully Made Woman Ministry: Beauty in Brokenness Empowerment Session is an interdenominational ministry that brings women together to pray themselves, their families and the Nation. This runs concurrently at the same time with the UK session once a month Women have the opportunity to learn a skill too.
Valentine, Easter and Christmas Outreach
This is an outreach that provides food, organise community event to support the women and also to promote community cohesion and togetherness. These event helps reduce isolation, especially amongst single mothers and widows.
